Texture and material construction:

Appears to be very well made with a remarkably “real” look and feel. Soft, but not too soft. Smooth surface over a penis-like shape. Wide base for secure hold in a strap.

For way too many years I poo-pooed the notion that the supposedly lifelike feel of VixSkin would actually feel enough “better” to make it worth the price. I’m an economical gal who is easily aroused so ordinary toys “work” as well as specialty items. Therefore I waited for this dildo to go on sale before I took the risk.

I placed the order so it would arrive after a particularly sexy weekend and so used it (with myself) while memories of my favorite 2 real men were still vivid. Pretty soon I was bucking like a wild bronco and feeling slightly smug for having gifted myself with such a yummy toy. The part I like best is the soft feel outer layer. I had expected it to be kind of a thin cover over a standard silicone dildo, but what I discovered is more like a thick, fleshy, springy material that seems to account for about half the diameter. I love the relatively small head. It slips inside easily allowing for a deeply pleasurable slow penetration. The diameter of the Mustang is just a bit larger than my guy and more than a bit longer. The VixSkin Mustang is the best item I have ever purchased anywhere! I purchased the vanilla skin tone which the tone is very realistic for Caucasians and not the annoying pinkish tone you often see in other products. Fresh out of the box there was no odor and the texture was remarkably realistic. The exterior feels like soft skin and the inner core is flexible enough to bend to the contours of your partner’s body but firm enough to maintain its shape and do the job right. The tip/head is also firm but has enough distance from the core and softness to not discomfort your partner if you happen to make contact with her walls. I have owned and used mine consistently for 16 months now and there is no damage or wear whatsoever from use and it looks and feels like the day I received it in the mail. Cleaning is as simple as it states on the site (antibacterial soap and water or boiling for 3 mins).

Review Details:

I use mine in conjunction with a SpareParts harness and my girlfriend has never been happier. It is possible to pack with it but since it is not meant to be used as a packer you will have to secure it in a harness and wear tight boxers over it and baggy jeans or shorts for it not to be very noticeable. Best advice is to buy this one for the bedroom and buy a packer for packing – but it is still possible to pack. You will get more than you paid for by buying this one and I have tried many different brands and styles.

When I heard that it feels like the real deal I was very skeptical. Until I got that package in the mail and ripped it open. It feels so real, textured with just the right amount of veins and ridges. It’s hard enough for insertion but soft and squishy enough so that during more intense play it does not hurt when inside.

I usually don’t review sex toys online unless they’re really good or really bad because, you know, everyone has different needs and stuff. But I love this thing. I have used it in a harness with others and also had it used on myself. I shy away from receiving penetration a lot of the time for a variety of reasons and mostly like topping more. But, the vixskin stuff is the only stuff I can handle due to its softness yet still remains firm enough to feel awesome. I get to enjoy myself without pain (I’m really sensitive). I also have Vixskin Tex but that one doesn’t work as well as a strap on toy bc it’s too short. This one is long enough that two medium to thicker sized people can still get it on, while still being thin enough for people like me to be flipped. But people who dig on big size also like it a lot. It’s one of those toys I am glad to have in my collection for any occasion or person. And it’s boilable and one of the cleanest materials. Worth the money (and it’s about 50 bucks less on this site than many others). If you’re not into realistic looking dildos put a purple condom over it or somethin. Trust me, it’s awesome.

I’ve never owned a VixSkin product, but I was more than pleased. It’s softer and more pliable than typical silicone dildos, so it felt far less intrusive than the dildos I’ve used before.

I’m a lesbian who, in the past, has been very hesitant to purchase a more realistic dildo. To my surprise, I didn’t find it to be weird or uncomfortable, but instead I found that the benefits of the material and construction far out-weighed any hesitation I previously had when considering the purchase of a life-like dildo. Because of the comfort I felt while wearing the dildo, my partner felt equally comfortable, and we both enjoyed every second of it. It definitely provides a more natural feeling because it’s somewhat “squishy” yet firm enough that penetrating is still fulfilling and it hits the right spots. Equally as important, the base of the dildo was held nicely in the strap-on harness allowing me to have an orgasm while wearing it. The one problem I had was that because I was looking for a less invasive dildo, I was searching for one that was a little shorter in length (in addition to the “squishiness” factor).
