BexTalksSex Reviews The Crystal G Glass Dildo

Size matters. Well at the very least, size matters when designing a sex toy. When looking at a picture of the Crystal G it seems great, when holding it in my hand I started to become a little concerned, and when I put it in my vagina I was faced with the sad truth, this toy is just too small.

To be honest, my thoughts on this toy go against everything I thought I knew about sex toys, I am no size queen. I considered throwing a party the first time I successfully inserted the Vixskin Maverick  and when I got the Tantus O2 Luke in the mail last week I cowered in fear. Not only that, but this toy is glass, and I often prefer (and recommend) glass toys in smaller sizes due to their firmness, because they have absolutely no give they tend to feel much larger in use compared to a silicone toy of the same size.

Although they may not be ideal for huge toys, glass toys tend to perform well in other areas. For example, they often make fantastic G-Spot and P-Spot toys because their firmness is ideal for providing direct and deliberate pressure. Many times they are textured as the firm material can make the texture feel more pronounced, but if they are smooth glass is the smoothest material you will find with absolutely no drag. Glass toys are also very aesthetically pleasing, usually featuring beautiful swirls of color and delicate curves. They can even be used for temperature play, dipped glass in warm or cool water1 it will hold its temperature for an impressively long time.

The Crystal G features all the things that I love about glass, which makes it even more heartbreaking that I just cannot love it. The tip is designed to target the g-spot exactly the way I look for in a toy and the rounded head and drastic curve is reminiscent of the Pure Wand which is just made of g-spot magic so my hopes were high. Unfortunately with a circumference of 3.75″ the head is just too small to provide the broad pressure I crave, instead despite its shape, it still feels pinpoint and uncomfortable. Not only that but the drastic curve that I was so excited about turned out to be disappointing as well. While it did successfully target my G-Spot, the part that remained outside of my body was both too short to comfortably maneuver. Not only that but the shaft curved so drastically that it was too close to my vulva for me to use all but the thinnest of clit vibes, but too far away for me to grind against it which, not surprisingly, is incredibly frustrating
