"My first experience with the Rosa was transcendent. I realized early on that I could move it around and stuff, sure or I could put it on one of the alternating modes (see! I use the modes with these!!) and just lie back… and I did. I spent… I don't even know how long going right up to the edge of orgasm and coming back and then when I decided I wanted to orgasm I reached down and changed it to the steady mode and done.

The Denia I was surprised by because I loved the Rosa so much I was worried that the clitoral arm would get in the way but it is large and firm enough to be feel good (no stupid rabbit ears here!) but (like the shafts of both toys actually) flexible enough to move around so I could adjust my positioning.

I loved Denia too but since direct clitoral stimulation isn't my jam, Rosa is my go-to (Rosa is better for stimulating the clitoris through the vulva) for most situations, with the notable exception of the bath, where Denia was a bit more fun.

I simply can't recommend these toys highly enough (hell, the Rosa was already on my Favorite Things of 2014 list), not just because they will make you have orgasms but because they actually seem to be made with an understanding of anatomy. These toys go hunting for all of the spots that MIGHT feel good and stimulate them just in case. These toys aren't there to help you go find an orgasm- these toys go looking for one for you. I'm actually getting choked up writing this (shut up) because, for the first time I'm having that experience I've watched you all have where I feel like I've found a toy that was made for my body – but honestly, I think this toy is just made by people who understand bodies."

"As a big fan of rumbly vibrations and temperature play, I can't not recommend the L'Amourose Rosa Rouge. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of technology, covered in velvety-soft silicone, and it is by far my favorite internal vibrator.

At 4.5" insertable and 1.5" around, the Rosa Rouge is something of a work of art. It's not something that I reach for all the time and it's not a toy designed for thrusting, but when I feel like I've been very, very good, the Rosa Rouge makes me feel simultaneously like a princess and an–actually, nope, it pretty much just makes me feel like a princess.

So… my final recommendations. A $240 toy isn't feasible for all of us (I was lucky enough to have mine given to me by the lovely folks at SheVibe), but the Rosa and Rosa Rouge offer things that other vibrators simply don't: a comfortable hands-free design, temperature play, and (and!) 3+ hours of near-silent play on a single charge. If you can do it, I say do it."

  1. Practically Perfect in Every Way! star rating

Power Rating: Powerful - Wow! Enough power for anyone and then some!

Noise Rating: Quiet - Buzzes discreetly.

Texture and material construction: The L'Amourose Rosa Rouge is a smooth, matte silicone vibrator with a plastic grip on the underside cut to look like a gemstone. The silicone has a very silky touch, and the shaft is very bendable. Although it is flexible, I wouldn't describe the silicone as squishy. It's still pretty firm when squeezed, but it is easily bendable for maneuvering to the right spots.

Overall, this vibrator feels really solid an well-constructed. The large base seems like it would be bulky, but I found it made for easy gripping and handling, and fit nicely in my relatively small hands.

The controls are not true buttons, but instead raised silicone on the side of the base. This makes them nearly impossible to see, and feeling them out can be a challenge at first, though I got the hang of them very quickly.

Review Details: I bought the L'Amourose Rosa Rouge after reading many rave reviews with the hopes that this vibrator could do for my G-spot what other vibrators have failed to do, and I was not disappointed!

Not only is the design beautiful to look at, but it is also very, very functional in terms of being able to position it exactly the way I want it against my G-spot, while still being able to stimulate my clit with the base. I think the flexibility would make it easy for a lot of different vagina shapes and builds to this type of dual stimulation, with one caveat: I do think the dual function will be primarily successful for women with a raised/protruding clitoris. Don't worry though, there is still plenty of non-dual stimulation opportunities for clits of all sizes and visibility! Additionally, the flexibility of the shaft and the shape of the head make it easy to reach my usually hard-to-get-to G-spot. If you, like me, have an "oddly" placed G-spot that can't always be reached by other vibrators, the Rosa Rouge will very likely be able to get to it.

The warming function of this vibrator is out of this world. It feels amazing, and definitely adds a lot to the experience. I can only feel the heat a little bit when I'm using the shaft internally, but for external/clit stimulation, the heat is very noticeable and really, REALLY pleasant.

The vibrations the L'Amourose Rosa Rouge provides are fantastic. Very deep and low frequency, plenty of speed and power if you need it, and even the patterns are very satisfying (which is notable for me as I don't usually enjoy patterns; the only other exception is a couple of the patterns on the We Vibe Touch). Vibrations are stronger and deeper than any of my Lelos.

The only weakness this vibrator has, if any (I hesitate even to call this weakness; it's more of a consideration), is that even though I can enjoy dual stimulation with the base pressed against my clit, I can't achieve a clitoral orgasm though the base alone. But the shaft can give clitoral orgasms almost effortlessly, so I tend to use the Rosa Rouge to stimulate my clit while giving myself some a nice G-spot orgasm or two, then finish off by using the shaft on my clit to orgasm that way.

This is easily the most expensive toy in my collection, but well worth every penny. Whether you're looking for a G-spot stimulator, clitoral stimulator, or both, the L'Amourose Rosa Rouge will get you where you need to go. Very highly recommend.

  2. Not for everyone. star rating

Power Rating: Strong - Got me there without a problem.

Noise Rating: Quiet - Buzzes discreetly.

Texture and material construction: The texture of the silicone is smooth, velvety, and just gorgeous. The toy feels sturdy and well-made. The buttons are hard to find and use, and I also had a hard time getting it lined up in the charging base.

Review Details: I excitedly bought this toy after one of my favorite reviewers recommended it enthusiastically, but I was disappointed.

First, the good. It's beautiful. Even the packaging is fancy, and it feels very much like a luxury product. The vibrations are pretty good--fairly rumbly.

I got the fanciest version with the warming feature, because I thought it sounded really nice, but it never felt warm enough to make much of a difference to me. So this wasn't the exciting extra function I was hoping for. What I didn't know was that very feature somehow subtracts from the battery life. I tend to take a while to come, and I can't use this twice without charging it in between. It has died on me right as things were getting good more than once.

Then there's the shape. It doesn't fit my anatomy well. When I use it internally, it just feels...wrong. I have a tilted uterus; maybe it's related to that? And when I try to press the vibrating base toward my clit, it makes the arm press toward my rectum in a not-nice way. So I'm left with external use, and that's fine--not quite as powerful as I like, but it does get me there. It's kind of awkward to hold that way, though.

I wanted to love this toy (so many do!), but I just don't. The warming and battery life are lackluster, and the shape and vibration power aren't right for me.
