Texture and material construction:
Beautiful, comfortable, machine-washable fabric. The color ran a little, so I would recommend washing it a couple of times if you’re concerned about staining your light-colored dildos. The seams, snaps, and buckles are all well-constructed, and we’ve had no problems with any of them coming loose, despite the fact that we use the Joque quite often.

One of the big draws of the Joque harness is its adjustability; it takes a few minutes to adjust it to where you want it initially, but once you’ve gotten it, you can just insert the dildo into the o-ring and slip it on. It doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything at all, and it’s as secure as a harness can be without feeling restrained or uncomfortable. Also, the placement of the o-ring is perfect for external stimulation. Cleaning it is easy: we alternate between hand-washing and machine-washing ours. My wife prefers the Joque for the added stability of the leg straps, and finds it far more comfortable than thong-style harnesses. Overall, we both love the Joque. It’s made our sex-life more comfortable, and a lot more fun. If you’re looking at buying a harness, I STRONGLY recommend this one. Almost Perfect.

Texture and material construction:
Quite comfortable and visually appealing though not as durable as I had assumed. I am not much of a sewer and I have had to patch it up a bit. There are two elastics you can pull on the front for added tightness that have broken. I am not a huge fan of the velcro waist band. I can never seem to get it snug enough and feel it adds to the bulk under my pants that takes away from the jock strap feel I would prefer. The leg straps I can never get short enough to have the base of my Goodfella resting against my body where I would like it. I don’t dig the occasional velcro noises it gives off. On the flip side this extremely convenient to clean.

This works well with STP devices due to the padded flap in the back.

Texture and material construction:
The SpareParts Joque harness is made of spandex that is smooth and nice against the skin. The waist band is 2 inches wide and is made of thick, firm spandex whereas the pouch where the o-ring is made of slightly thinner and stretchier spandex. There are plastic buckles to adjust the leg straps and also one small adjustable strap on the left and right of the waist for minute tweaking. The main size adjustment for the waist is made up of 31 inches of soft Velcro on the back part of the waist which folds in on itself to become smaller. There are two 2 inch tabs, one on the left and one on the right, to attach to the softer Velcro. The pouch that holds the dildo (light blue in color in my case) has a stretchy o-ring to hold up to 2 inch diameter dildos. My Joque is the size ‘B’ which is designed to hip sizes 35 inches to 60 inches.
Review Details:
Sizing the Joque to my body was very easy! I made sure the leg straps were loose first as I pulled it up, stepping into them like panties. Once I had the harness pulled all the way up I tightened the waist band until it felt comfortable and then tightened the leg straps. I found it was easier to adjust the harness first and then take it off, again stepping out of it like panties, and then inserting the dildo. Otherwise, the dildo kind of pulls down and works against you.
The stretchy o-ring is pretty easy to maneuver, though the bigger the dildo, the more resistance you’ll have. There is also a wonderful little bullet pouch positioned just under the o-ring. That pouch is genius! The bullet (not included) adds vibration for both the wearer and through the dildo to the receiver. And the dildo? Also perfectly placed! Any pressure or movement presses directly against my clit so I’m also getting plenty stimulation during use. The straps stay where they were adjusted to and feel very comfortable during use. If you step out of the harness like panties, you don’t have to readjust it every time but if you’re in a bit of a hurry the Velcro can also act like a kind of quick release to get it off, other than sliding it down your legs.
Another great thing about this harness is that it can be washed in the washing machine. It has no metal so there is no worry of rust and there are also no animal products used to make this.

The harness is well designed and very functional. The waist strap is adjustable to fit each individual personally and the Velcro closure doesn’t accidentally come undone or rub the wearer. The leg straps are elastic and feel comfortable to the wearer and are also adjustable in a wide range of sizes. The pouch is very breathable and accepts packers and dildos easily. The pouch can be left open to allow contact with your skin or closed as a barrier. I have had mine for 16 months now and I machine wash and dry it with no damage to it or fading.

SpareParts harnesses are hands down the best out there! I wear mine with the VixSkin Mustang in the bedroom and I have never been let down as I have with other harnesses which eventually tear or break. This harness can take all the abuse that you can put it through and be right there ready for use again. I have also used it as a packer under my street clothes though I now prefer the SpareParts Pete Trunks for packing since it is more like boxer shorts.

I bought my Joque several years ago and have been thrilled with it up until recently. Which in my mind just means that it may be time to retire it and get another one. But before I do I thought I should let people know what a good harness it has been. Hands down SpareParts gives a quality product every time and for that I keep coming back. I have gotten compliments from past partners on how quickly I was ready to go. This is a credit to the Velcro wrap around hip straps. I have also never had any problems with chaffing or pinching skin. The fabric always stays soft and does well during vigorous/ rough play. I must point out that this has been my only harness for years and the o ring has accommodated dildos with a diameter of 1 and 3/4 to just over 2″. Think Vixen Creation’s Bandit and Outlaw. If you want to pack or bring the Louisville slugger to bed then Joque will get you there.

This was incredibly soft like it was a second skin. There are no rough edges or straps that feel uncomfortable against the skin. I didn’t find it bulky and it didn’t get in the way. I love the fact that this drops in the wash and cleans up easily. The little pocket inside is perfect for a small bullet vibe and adds a bonus sensation for the wearer. It’s easy to put on and the straps are well designed.

I looked at a bunch of different harnesses before ever deciding on this one, and I must say it’s well worth the money. The design, look and feel of this is amazing. It holds the dildo in place and is super soft against skin. It’s easy to put on and adjusts really quickly. I love the fact that there are no o-rings to unsnap and re-snap and all that. It’s just so much easier to deal with. I can’t imagine having any other harness and would buy this again without a doubt.

I really like this harness. It has a lot of versatility and I can wear it for long periods of time without being uncomfortable. It’s easy to adjust and put on and fairly easy to wash. It keeps everything in the right place for the most part and has a lot of ways to fix it quickly when things get shifted. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I’ve washed it a few times now and it seems to be getting beat up after each wash, even with delicate cycle and natural detergents. So, I am wondering when I will have to buy another one. I also think that the price is too high for the material and that it would be fair if the company sold it for a lot less. But, it is my favorite harness so far and I would probably buy another one if this one died at some point.

As other reviewers have said, this harness is constructed very well and doesn’t feel cheap in any way. You can tell very quickly that it will last a long time with a bit of care. The texture of the synthetic materials is nice in that it feels soft to the touch. It also washes very easily and dries in no time.

My wife and I bought this harness as our first after reading so many positive reviews on it. We decided to just “bite the bullet” and get it instead of starting off with a cheaper harness. We are very, very glad we did so! My wife feels sexy in the harness, free of any leather and cheap or gimmicky materials. She says the fit is perfect (she is fairly petite) and it doesn’t pinch her or move around during use.
The ring can accommodate dildos as small as 1.25″ wide (maybe even 1″ though we haven’t tried) and I think it is stretchy enough to accommodate ones at least 2.25″ or bigger. We’re very happy we’ve made the purchase and confident that it will last for a long time to come. Thanks SheVibe!
