The Tantus Magma is literally dripping, with textured rivulets running down its shaft - and of course it’s always ready to be used. Ready to be twisted and turned, so I can feel its explosion of swirling lines.
The texture starts with four thin, bumpy ridges jutting out from the “head” of the toy. Then the oozing effect starts: four drips down the front, and another down the back.
It’s the middle two drips—especially the longest, central one—that really endear my clit to Magma. Because this is very much a dual-stimulating dildo for me: those running lines rub me externally, so I just want to keep teasing myself with Magma. The “big drip,” as I’ll call it, presses against my urethra and hits the underside of my clit when I turn the dildo maybe 15 degrees off center. Or, I can turn Magma a little bit farther, almost 90 degrees counterclockwise, and feel another large drip pushing down on my clitoral hood.
The Tantus Magma just has a lot going on. It’s for the person who knows they want something a little different in their dildo, something more sensational than a plain insertable or a phallic toy.
Because Magma does have all that texture, all that drippy-ness, I think it’s great that Tantus decided to pour it in a softer silicone. Magma’s mold is the same as the Tantus Splash, but now it’s cast in a 10A shore platinum silicone. (Marginally firmer than Tantus Super Soft, Tantus told me in an email.) That means the shaft is pretty flexible, and the firmness is on the borderline of “soft.” Still, it’s easy to feel all the ridges, all the flowing lines, in this density.
Magma’s drips and drops also have a glossy finish, compared to the matte underneath. In use, that means that the oozing trails glide more easily. Still, I always lube up well with this toy, because the four head ridges are draggy without.
