A bit of a learning curve
My absolute favorite dildos are the Desireables Porcelain ones (I’ve got all 3)! The shape and the texture just do it for me. My only criticism about them is that I would prefer a tad bit more length, but it hasn’t been a deal breaker. The Arch has a shape very similar to the Desireables, and is a bit longer, so I thought this would be a great addition! Even though it wouldn’t have that porcelain texture, I figured it would be great to have a stainless steel version I didn’t have to worry about breaking. I also love stainless steel toys. Unfortunately the bulbs in the Njoy toys liked getting hooked on my pubic bone, so they didn’t work, and I hated that meant I didn’t have any stainless toys in my collection! With the shape of the Arch I knew I wouldn't have that problem! However, while I carefully reviewed all the other measurements, I didn’t pay attention to the weight, since I’ve had experience with the Njoy Pure Wand before, and I didn’t recall it’s weight being an issue for me. For reference, if you’ve ever handled Njoy’s Pure Wand, it weighs in at 1.5lbs. 1.87lbs doesn’t sound like very much (nor does that seem to be significantly heavier than the Pure Wand), but I found the reality to be a whole ‘nother thing. You should definitely take the weight into consideration when deciding whether to get this! The problem with the weight is that given the slickness of the stainless steel, even if it’s dry, it’s hard to keep a good grip on it. Fortunately I had some silicone bands - the kind you put around your wrist for causes - and found that wrapping that around one end gave a good grip and my hands didn’t tire out! Of course, with the band it means you can’t switch ends very quickly, but I usually only use one end anyway. And it’s easy enough to remove the band and clean it if I do decide to switch it up. The heaviness does have some positive attributes, so it’s not all bad. Until I figured out the band work-around I experimented on different ways to use this compared to the typical thrusting I might use with my (much lighter) dildos. It made for some very pleasurable experimentations, so I don’t expect to be tired of this toy anytime soon!
