    Eroscillator: Function Over Form

    Posted by Blush (Swansea, MA)

Power Rating: Strong - Got me there without a problem. Noise Rating: Inaudible - Almost silent. Material & Construction: The Eroscillator is no tiny clit-stimulator. It clocks in at around a foot in length, although the shaft is pretty narrow (less than 2 inches in diameter). Weight-wise it's a little hefty (8 oz.), but not at all a strain. If you're comparing it to a tiny, compact clitoral vibe (like the Form 2 or a bullet), it feels pretty big. But it's a good deal smaller and more agile than a Hitachi. Its body is made of hard plastic and the attachments are TPE with a silicone coating, which means they're non-porous and body-safe. Which are, of course, awesome things to be. The body is ribbed and easy to grip, even with lube-y hands, and the attachments snap on and off really easily and remain secure while in use. The power level is adjusted using a sliding bar that runs along the side of the body and is conveniently located just where my thumb falls when I'm holding it. Yay convenience! The Eroscillator has three power levels and the current level is displayed near the power slider. Speaking of power, this baby runs on AC, which means it will never operate at less than full capacity. It comes with a 12' power cord (about twice as long as the Hitachi cord, for those keeping track at home) which plugs into the bottom of the body and can be locked into place. Product Review Details: The Eroscillator is rocking a unique steampunk aesthetic that definitely, um, sets it apart from other toys in its price bracket, to put it politely. To put it not-so-politely, a lot of people would call the Eroscillator ugly, but since I've come to love it dearly, I shy away from such harsh words. You see, what the Eroscillator lacks in looks, it more than makes up for in performance. (Plus, sometimes toys that don't scream 'SEX!' are nice, especially when you live with a roommate and sometimes forget to put things away. Oops.) First of all, it's pretty much silent on the first two levels, although the noise factor changes slightly depending on which attachment you use, and is just barely audible on the third. I'm pretty sure someone could be in the room with it on and not necessarily notice it. This is a huge win for me and others who have unfortunately thing walls. The Eroscillator Experience changes a bit depending on which attachment you use, and I definitely recommend playing around with them. I liked them all, but am really glad I sprung for the Soft Finger attachment. I find the hard plastic can be a little TOO intense at times, so I don't really venture about level 1 with the other attachments. (That said, I DEFINITELY can get off with them and like the Cockscomb side of the Grapes and Cockscomb attachment a lot...and yes, most of the attachments do have funny names.) But the Soft Finger attachment is my go-to because it lets me take my time a little more and enjoy the unique oscillating sensation. And OH, what a sensation. It's definitely strong, but it doesn't make me jumpy or over-sensitive like strong vibrators sometimes do. I can't describe the feeling without sounding kind of cheeseball about it, but it's more of a rolling pleasure and it builds up more slowly. It also lets me enjoy that kind of euphoric, close-to-coming feeling a lot longer than I usually can with other clit stimulators. And when I actually come, the orgasms feel deeper, last longer and are more satisfying. A.k.a AWESOME. I was initially a little skeptical that the Eroscillator would feel qualitatively different than a good vibrator, so I played around with my Form 2 (which is a pretty strong, quality vibe) after I'd been using my Eroscillator, and found that the Form 2's vibrations now felt buzzy and shallow. To reiterate: don't let its erm...unique looks and kind of high price-tag dissuade you because the Eroscillator is one awesome and unique pleasure provider. It's not terribly portable, but it's a fantastic go-to for your at-home masturbatory needs. It's powerful without being overwhelming and consistently produces big, strong, satisfying orgasms. Consider it an investment in on-tap, amazing, eye-rolling, knee-shaking pleasure. Plus, since it's electric, it will probably outlast any rechargeable vibrator on the market.

    Pretty Indispensable

Posted by kristinalee (Raleigh, North Carolina)

I bought this a few months ago when wand-style vibrators I'd used for a long time began to make my vulva feel numb. I remembered really enjoying a knock-off of this toy made by Sinclair Institute a few years back. That had been great while it worked, but I went through two products that each only worked twice. After that, I just cut my losses and stopped asking for replacements. This one doesn't break. It's quite sturdy, so that's nice. It helps me reach orgasm more quickly than I have in years, and it really intensifies things when I use it with a dildo or g-spot vibrator. My favorite attachments thus far are the ones pictured at 1:00, 9:00 and 11:00 on the main photo. The one at 9:00 is my favorite of all, and I could probably do without the one at 3:00-4:00 with little brush-like threads on the sides. The brush threads are just kind of tickly, but don't provide me with enough sensation beyond that. If you've been having difficulty achieving orgasm, I'd say definitely go for the Deluxe. I went back and forth quite a bit before I made my decision, and I'd glad I went with this one. It has plenty of power, but anything less (for me) would be just barely enough and might be dissatisfying. The orgasms I get from this actually aren't better than what I got from the Sinclair, but I can depend on it to continue functioning day after day. By the time this toy arrived, I had actually forgotten that the attachments are made of soft ABS plastic. They work fine, but feel a little cheap given the price of this vibrator. I'm very glad I bought this because there's nothing else out there that works this way (and that actually works dependably). I'm not sure why that is, but it does give me orgasms at times when nothing else can and has been worth the price to me.
