LOVE this toy!
First of all, I would like to say that I'm writing this review as the person who is not usually on the receiving end of this toy, but the five stars comes from both me and my girlfriend. I had been looking for a dildo that had the girth my girl loved with not as much length as another toy we had been using frequently. I came across the cush O2 and I'm So glad I bought it. The color is seriously aesthetically pleasing. We have the candy pink and the soft squishy silicone is light pink, semi opaque, and the core is a darker hot pink. A real pretty cock. Speaking of which it's definitely not designed to look realistic to a penis which I Love, as that's just not something I personally look for in the toys I want to wear. Okay so, before I get to how much my girlfriend loves this dildo, I have to say how much I do. This is the first dildo I've used with a strap that has felt like an extension of Me and it feels so incredible. Maybe it has something to do with the texture or weight or just how it looks, but wearing it makes me feel totally in control of it like it's actually a part of me. I've never experienced that before and let me tell you it's been hard to go back to my other toys after using it. But that's not a problem because it's my girl's favorite too. She loves the girth and the length hits her g-spot every time. She says the ridge especially feels good. It's soft but not overly flexible and rigid enough to give a real "full" feeling. Definitely use lots of lube, the texture of the toy is skin-like but matte and can drag uncomfortably if it's dry. Easy to clean and like I said, very pretty. Honestly, I would be lying if I said I haven't displayed it on the bed stand like it's decor.

Great product, if not entirely what I expected
I’ll open this review with a disclaimer that prior to this, I’d only used 1 other dildo for vaginal use, and it was a flexible, jelly silicone that was about 1.5 inches in diameter. I was happy with it, but I wanted something a bit more substantial. The “dual density” silicone premise, along with the renown of the quality products Tantus makes, eventually lead me to the Cush 02. It seemed perfect - I hate overly realistic dildos, so the elegant, smooth ridges on it and color options were a dream, along with the selling point of being somewhat softer. But oof, this thing, it’s much more solid than I expected. The head has a fair amount of “squish” to it, but the shaft does not. It’s *slightly* flexible, but with the girth involved here, it wasn’t enough for thrusting to not feel jabby. So why, you might ask, am I giving this 4 stars, if it’s not entirely pleasant for me to use? Ultimately, it’s the quality of the product. It’s a beautiful toy, honestly, and I do still use it, just with a LOT of lube, and the size is nice. It’s a great toy, but don’t let the description of “soft outer layer” make you think it’s anything close to squishy.

Bad for Vaginal use, Great for Anal use!
[For the record, I have the Tantus Cush O2 in the old Ice (aka blue) coloration that I think was discontinued.] When I originally bought this toy years ago, I got it because so many insisted it was a fantastic g-spot toy and that the firmness Tantus is famous/infamous for isn't present with this toy. Sadly, it's still a bit too firm for me to use vaginally at it's size and I honestly don't feel the ridge of the toy against my g-spot at all. To make it worse, the point of the toy just does not agree with my cervix to where it causes me cramps. It's just about the worst toy I've used vaginally, if I'm being honest. But, ironically enough, everything that made me hate this toy vaginally makes it a damn good toy for anal play! The cervix stabbing point of the toy makes it so much easier to insert anally, the point insuring the gradual increase in girth isn't too shocking to my body. The ridge I found unimpressive was a thrill when inserted anally, a fun challenge to get to and over in use again and again. And the dual density firmness makes it softer than Tantus other anal toys, so it's more gentle, but it's still firm enough to hold up. So, if you don't think it could work for you vaginally, consider whether it could work for you for anal play! Its one of my faves for anal play and I really think it's great for that.

Aesthetically pleasing and luxurious feeling.
To start, this dildo is absolutely gorgeous! I chose the color Twilight, and am so happy with it from an aesthetic standpoint. From the graceful ripples that remind me of luxurious bedsheets to the lovely, delicate color gradient, it's the type of dildo that you don't want to hide in the bedside drawer. The soft purple tones are ethereal and gorgeous, and I think the color "Twilight" is aptly named. I've owned this dildo for over a year now, and it looks just as gorgeous as it did the day I unboxed it! Since this was my first toy meant for internal use, I wasn't sure what to expect from it. But I am absolutely in love with the construction and sensation! The firm core surrounded by the softer outer layer of silicon provides just the right amount of flexibility, without losing out on rigidity. The silicon also has a lovely texture, with a pleasant, velvety feel to it. In general, the Cush 02 feels super high quality, while requiring minimal upkeep and maintenance. I have a feeling I'll keep - and continue using! - this toy for years to come.

Take the girth seriously
I decided on the Cush because I determined that the size was the upper limit of what I could take, and I wanted to try that along with the dual density that so many people love. Many reviewers talk about this toy being squishy or having give - but that wasn't my experience at all. The soft outer layer is very thin relative to the solid inner layer, and mainly serves to give a softer, more matte texture on the outside than the very firm, shiny regular silicone that Tantus uses (which you can see uncovered on the bottom of the toy). The experience feels more like squeezing a finger and having a small amount of give over the bone beneath. This might have been okay, except for the lower ridge - if it were softer and had more give it might have been an interesting sensation, but since it was still so firm and protrudes so much, it hurt a little during each thrust. The three stars on this review are because it is beautiful to look at and clearly high-quality. The ridge might not be such a problem for someone for whom this is an average-size dildo instead of someone who is completely filled by it, like me. It didn't hit my G-spot at any angle, but it did feel good along the walls, minus the ridge.

Great Buy
Texture and material construction: Cush O2 Dildo by Tantus is a dual density silicone toy of above average girth designed to provide a feeling of fullness and target the G-spot. The toy itself is completely straight and phallic, but not in an obvious way. It has an unrealistic design with minimal anatomical detail. The shaft is smooth except for the coronal ridge and a protruding lip in the center of the toy. The head instead of being rounded like most dildos, actually forms more of an isosceles triangle shape with a rounded point. The coronal ridge is really the only indicator that this is meant to represent a penis, which is a plus in my opinion. Being a dual density toy, the outside is made with a squishy soft silicone, while the core of the toy is made with a harder more dense silicone. I’m happy to report that the outer squishier layer is quite thick all along the shaft. The squishier silicone seems to be most prevalent though in the glands. The base of the toy is nice and thick and the harder silicone makes it perfect to hold when thrusting. The color of the Cush is really awesome. Pictures of this toy give completely the wrong impression. Many of them show this toy as being one solid bright color but its two toned and the white coloring is actually quite prevalent. The softer top layer of silicone is white while the inner core of silicone has the color. The color shows through the white making it look almost frosted. It’s absolutely stunning in appearance. I, for instance, have the pink candy color and I love the way that changes in the thickness of the white layer make the pink very intense in some areas and less so in others. Honestly this toys presentation is quite striking. The silicone itself has no taste or smell but it does have a good deal of drag and collects lint like crazy. It definitely requires lube and washing the toy before and after use. Review Details: When I first started reading about the Cush I was reluctant to get it because everyone talked about how girthy it is. Now, although I’ve definitely upped my penetration experience in the last few months, I’m still relatively new to internal masturbation. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for something so big. However, it got such rave reviews that I decided to buy it and simply work my way up to it. When I received it I had two thoughts. The first was “this is gorgeous and so squishy.” Even now I love just playing with it in my hands. It’s just so plush. The second was, “This isn’t THAT big.” I mean it is girthy but nothing like I was imagining. Still, I gave myself some time to let my body get acclimated to taking larger and larger toys before I actually used it. When I finally did, I warmed myself up with clitoral stimulation and a couple of dildos of different sizes in order to open me up more. After that I added a good bit of lube to the Cush and it just slid right in. No pain or discomfort. Just a feeling of being filled. I started thrusting nice and slow in order to let my body get used to it and I discovered that I absolutely love the texture of this particular silicone. I can’t really think of a way to describe exactly how it felt. I just know that I love the way it just lightly gripped my vaginal walls as it slid across them. To me it just felt…different. So I continued thrusting faster and faster and it felt fantastic to squeeze around its girth. The plushness of the Cush just made it so comfortable and thus allowed me to maximize the sensation that squeezing produces. Now, although it is straight, the Cush is marketed as a G-spot toy. And for me, it totally hit the spot. I actually didn’t realize it at first though. Because it’s so big the sensation produced by this toy was so broad, especially when I was squeezing and thrusting rapidly, that I couldn’t pin point where it originated. The only reason I recognized that it was my G-spot was because I realized I started thrusting more and more shallowly, which was making the coronal ridge and the bump right below it rub along my G-spot. It made my orgasm so intense. I’m talking that, every muscle in my body is clinched, can’t make a sound even though my expression says I should be screaming, kind of intense. I am definitely quite pleased with this purchase. My only real complaint is that the bottom lip of the toy was annoying. I just never really got use to that added texture and the way it rubbed. However, as annoying as it was, it wasn't enough of a problem to impede my pleasure in any real way.

Who knew squishy was such a great quality in a sex toy? Not me!
Texture and material construction: This is the softest, most pliable silicone I’ve ever touched. It feels decadent. Review Details: His was my first toy in the Tantus Dual Density 02 line, and it may not be the last, because it is a real joy to touch it even with just my hands. Do I need to bother saying how fabulous these colors are?? Like cotton candy. I have the blue one and it’s lovely. The ridge on top is what makes this toy so special. The girth alone is great, and with the ridge added as well, it doesn’t feel quite like any other insertable I’ve tried. Also, the ridge is aesthetically appealing and reminds me of draped fabric on a statue. The price is quite good for the quality of the product. My one real issue with this toy is that mine came with a flaw in the surface near the base. It’s over an inch in diameter, and it looks like the top layer of the silicone is peeling off. This was a surprising disappointment, since Tantus is one of the best manufacturers out there and have been for almost 2 decades at this point. (Wow, I’m getting old. That said, one reason I like investing in quality sex toys is that I hope I’ll enjoy them for the rest of my life. I have a Tantus toy from 2000 that’s still going strong.)

One of my favorites - but not for everyone.
Texture and material construction: The Cush is made from Tantus's dual density silicone, which consists of a hard inner core surrounded by softer silicone. On my toy, the core is slightly off-center, but this cannot be felt in use. The outer layer of silicone has a matte texture, so lube is a must. It is fairly plush, with a little give, but it is not nearly as squishy as I anticipated. If you have ever owned a Vixskin toy, it is definitely harder than that. As someone who loves harder toys, I am very happy with the Cush, but if you need something soft this may not be for you, especially considering the toy's girth. Review Details: The Cush is a fairly girthy toy, with a 1.75 inch diameter. The O2 formula helps a little, but the girth can definitely still be felt. I often have to warm up before I can tackle this toy. If you like a larger dildo, though, this is a fantastic choice, both for thrusting and for clenching. One of my favorite parts of the Cush is its ridge. Though it may look fairly small, it can really be felt in use, especially when thrusting. This is a straight dildo, but it provides excellent vaginal wall stimulation, and can also work well for g-spot stimulation, though I don't believe everyone will experience the latter. Though I own many toys, I have never felt anything quite like this ridge. According to my measurements, the ridge comes to an end about 4.5-5 inches down from the tip, so if you know that you can't take more than that you may not fully experience it. However, the Cush is also fantastic without thrusting. One of my favorite uses for this dildo is holding it inside and clenching around it. The outer layer has just enough give that I can compress the toy with my vaginal muscles, and the girth is just right for me. If you are looking for something thinner or softer, this may not be your best option, but if you like wider toys and you know that you can handle the length, the Cush is one of the best dildos that you can buy.
