    not sticky!

It's a bit thin and definitely not what I would recommend for anal (not thick enough or cushiony enough if you're going to be moving around), but its great that it doesn't feel sticky or gunky, and will just absorb into your skin without leaving any residue!

    Irritant-free perfection!

Texture and material construction: Satin by Sliquid is an all-natural, vegan lubricant. I purchased it for use as a lubricant for vaginal strap-on sex and solo sex, since I'm sensitive to ingredients in many other products. The texture was a very pleasant surprise. It's thicker than I expected for a water-based lubricant, and feels very close to my natural lubrication when aroused, though with slightly lower viscosity. When I squeeze a drop onto my fingertip, it stays right there in a nice bubble-shaped droplet until I rub it onto my body. It doesn't have any sticky or greasy feel--just slick and silky. Review Details: If you have ever tasted or smelled pure aloe vera juice, then you know what Satin smells like. I'd describe it as rather astringent and bitter; not most people's enjoyable scent of choice, but not horrible, either. Once on the skin, this scent dissipates quickly, so it shouldn't be a problem for most people, and I didn't notice it at all during use. In fact, I didn't notice it until I opened the cap and smelled it! After rubbing a drop into the back of my hand, all I could smell was the soap I had washed with, and I couldn't taste a thing when I licked the back of my hand. There aren't any non-edible ingredients in this (though I still probably wouldn't recommend licking it immediately after applying a large amount). My partner and I have used Satin for vaginal strap-on sex many times now, and have each used it with vibrators and dildos for solo play. It provides a really nice, natural-feeling slipperiness which we both enjoyed, and my very sensitive bits didn't experience any irritation during or after use. We do need to reapply occasionally, but no more often than with those other, less-safe products we'd tried before. We now keep a glass of warm water on the nightstand, so whoever is closest can just dip her fingers and flick a few drops to reactivate the lube whenever needed. Afterward, it seems to simply be absorbed into the skin. There's no stickiness or slipperiness left over -- it feels like we haven't used anything at all! I love this stuff and I'm so glad I got the large size bottle, which, by the way, is just as pretty as the photo shows.

    My favorite Lube

    Posted by LadyPopPop (Philadelphia)

Texture and material construction: Slippery but not slimy, scentless, no taste, lasts a LONG time for water-based lube, and absorbs when it’s done without leaving balled-up gummy bits behind. Review Details: I love this lube! I have struggled with lube for so many years--everything seemed to aggravate my vagina, leaving me raw or stinging or with an infection or all of the above. I tried every water-based lubricant in the drugstore, tried silicone lubes from high-end sex shops (soooo many kinds), tried coconut oil, but everything stung, harbored bacteria and led to vaginitis, gave me a cloggy rash where it touched my skin, and/or stained my sheets. (If anyone is curious, it turned out I have a sensitivity to cyclopentasiloxane, a common ingredient in many silicone lubes. Sensitivity to this ingredient is not uncommon, so if you think silicone lube is bothering your skin and vagina, you may be right!) I am so freaking happy to have found Sliquid's products--thank you SheVibe! I bought three of their water-based lubes to try out and this one is my favorite by a very narrow margin; I love them all. Silk is the one I take with me when I travel, and the one I bought a value-sized bottle of when my little one ran low. It doesn't stain, doesn't have a taste, lasts a long time, can be reactivated with a few drops of water, never has given me an infection, does not stain the sheets or leave a sticky film on the skin, and cleanup is easy. What is really surprising and wonderful to me about Sliquid's water-based lubes is that they last a long time and stay wet--something I thought only silicone could do. I think that my natural moisture just mixes better with these and keeps them going strong, but whatever the reason, I seriously could not be happier, and never thought that I could be so happy with a water-based lubricant!
