Texture and material construction: The Vixskin Maverick Silicone Dildo is a large realistic toy created with dual density silicone. When you squeeze the toy you can feel that there is a solid but flexible core (which gives the dildo stability) right beneath a super squishy silicone top layer. That top layer I would describe as soft but with an almost tacky feel. When you remove your hand from the toy it kind of sticks for just a second and almost feels like you should come away with something on your hand but there isn’t anything there. From what I’ve read this is common among Vixskin toys. Though I will say, I also own the Vixskin Mustang and the Maverick is not nearly as tacky as the Mustang. I kind of wish it were because I like the feeling. I also wish the top layer of silicone was slightly thicker. But, to be fair, I’m kind of insatiable when it comes to squish. In design, this toy is incredibly realistic. Not only does it have anatomical details like the prominent glans, urinary meatus, coronal ridge, penile raphe, frenulum of prepuce, and circumcision details, the silicone itself has the visual quality of skin. The only thing really missing is veins, and considering they make me uncomfortable, I’m not lamenting their absence. In reference to size, this is a very girthy toy. What I found to be every interesting though, is that unlike many dildos, the head isn’t the largest part. The largest part of the Maverick is in the center of the shaft where it starts to taper slightly as it runs onto the base. However, it is easy to clean and the drag can be reduced with lots of lube. Review Details: I got the Vixskin Maverick because of my intense love for the Vixskin Mustang. For me, the Mustang has the perfect shape and the perfect squishy texture. It just felt luxurious sliding in and out of my body. So when I saw the Maverick and realized it had almost the same shape just thicker I had to have it. Now, having done my research on the toy, I knew that my eyes were likely bigger than my vagina because even a quick google search reveals that the Maverick is a big boy. However, I didn’t care. I wanted Mustang’s big brother like yesterday and was willing to work up to its size. It took me a while to build up to the Maverick but when I did it was utterly delicious. After I prepped myself with a few dildos of different sizes, the Maverick slid into my body with no discomfort. No resistance. Nothing but thick silky decadence. I swear this thing was made for my body. I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the size at all. The girth felt comfortable and I loved how the size made the head stroked my G-spot. Plus, I just can’t get over how soft it is. I have other dildos that are made with soft silicone but I’ve never experienced anything like the softness of Vixskin. I found that because of the size I couldn’t intentionally squeeze around it much. My muscles just aren’t strong enough.
