I assumed that the Maia Max (and Monroe) would disappoint me in the same way the Pipedream Thrust-Her did, but hurray! these Maia thrusters are actually orgasmic for me, plus relatively affordable. They were an obvious choice to include among my favorite sex toys because:

Thanks for the advice!
I paid close attention to the reviews for this product before purchasing, so I knew I shouldn't assume that it was waterproof. I've been very careful while cleaning and so far it's been great. I took one star off because it's pretty loud and mechanical sounding (which I understand, but definitely isn't ideal) but in use, it feels great and overall I am very happy with this choice. Read reviews and blogs before investing in a toy, it really helps!!

Not water proof and suction is poor
-Suction is poor for price. It sticks to very smooth things with some struggle but not to walls -It is water resistant not waterproof and water can easily enter it even when not submerged (mine is a year old but worked when I got it fine. Only started using it this recent month and it breaks due to water entering it even after allowing over 24 hours for it to dry out) -it is kind of loud and you might be able to hear it through a door -if not for the above, it would have been a great one! Just don't use it near water to be safe.

Mechanics, Yes! Suction, NO.
I really love this toy and the way it works but I really hate that the suction isn’t as strong as I’d hoped for... I mean I was PRESSING this thing into my wall trying to get it to stick and it wouldn’t so I had to spend $30 at Home Depot for an actually decent suction mount with screw... I’ve seen other self thrusting toys and for $150 I would really hope and expect for the suction to work...
