Great for beginners & people who want something simple

    Posted by Emily G.

This was my first ever vibrator and I think it was perfect for that purpose, but I still use it sometimes even years later. It’s great for if you want something straightforward and simple - no fussing with lots of buttons, just a single dial. It’s also decently rumbly for something cheap & battery powered, and I think it’s definitely worth the price & great if you’re not looking to spend a lot. A lot of reviews are saying it dies quickly, but I’ve had mine about 2.5 years and I’ve never had to replace it. I store it with the batteries taken out so maybe that helps? It’s very easy to clean too. The only downside is that it is pretty loud, but overall I think it’s a great toy.

    The Earth-Friendly Vibe

    Posted by River

As someone who cares about the environment, I was delighted to find the Gaia Eco vibrator. The fact that it's made from a biodegradable material is a huge plus for me. It's also easy to clean and body-safe, which gives me peace of mind. I love that I can adjust the speed with a simple twist of a dial. The tapered tip design provides a comfortable experience, and I appreciate that it can be used for both internal and external stimulation. However, the fact that it takes 2 AA batteries is a bit of a downside for me, as I prefer rechargeable toys.

    Great, but continuously breaks

    Posted by Mixed Feelings

To be honest, I really like this vibrator, it's legitimately the only thing that works for me. Sadly, I've bought 6 of them in under a year because they continuously break. I got my most recent one a few days ago, and sadly it's already not working. I've even sat down and examined the interior to try to fix it, but nothing works. Fantastic vibrator, but be aware some of them may not last you very long.

I've bought like five of these now

Hands down best vibe I've owned, especially for the price. I love that they're biodegradable, they definitely do have a lifespan to some degree (mine usually wear out in about a year or so) but while they work, they're great. They can get a not noisy/buzzy but usually it's not too bad, and if there's literally any other noise going on it more or less gets drowned out.

    Died after 2 uses

It was great while it lasted. It wouldn’t turn on after 2 uses within the span of a month. You had to apply a good amount of pressure on to the battery to get it to vibrate (and these are brand new batteries too) otherwise it wouldn’t at all. Kinda sad about it dying so soon... *Editors Note - Blush offers a 60 day warranty for this item.

    Perfect for a vibe newbie

Full disclosure: While I’ve masturbated by hand for many years, this is my second vibrator. My first was buzzy, designed for clitoral stim, and it did get me there but took upwards of 30 minutes + a fair amount of fantasizing...needless to say, when I twisted the end cap on the Gaia Eco and made contact with my clit, I wasn’t prepared to orgasm in less than five minutes and with no thought whatsoever. Additionally, I’ve never felt a real urge to moan/make noise whether I’ve been masturbating by hand, with my old vibe, or with another person...but with the Gaia Eco, for the first time in my life, it just happened! This may seem small to others but I really thought I wasn’t capable of that sort of natural, passionate reaction. After using the Eco I’ve discovered that I prefer a nice smooth silicone to hard plastic, and it does nothing for me internally, but it is enjoyable in a different tactile way when lubed up, and when used in combination with one of my silicone dildos it’s fantastic. I’ve used it nearly a dozen times since I got it and the batteries are still going strong (perhaps because I don’t have to use it for very long to get off.) It does make a weird rattling noise if I hold it wrong, but that’s easily fixed by re positioning it in my hand. For the price I’m actually considering buying a couple more just in case my current one dies or Blush Novelties discontinues the Gaia line for some reason. All in all the Gaia Eco has been a great next step for me and I can’t wait to use it more!

Easy to Use. Easy to Clean. Easy to Replace Batteries.

This is a solid vibrator. It’s reasonably rumbly and moderately strong. I mostly use it for clitoral stimulation. The vibrations feel perfect when I use the vibe externally, but they feel dampened when inserted and don’t do much for me internally. So when I want internal stimulation, I just turn off the device, insert it, and apply pressure to my G-spot. This was my first hard toy. I was surprised by how much I liked it and how easy it was to get the right pressure in the right spot. It gave me the confidence to explore another hard material I’d been curious about: glass. The Gaia Eco is a great product for the price, but it isn’t perfect. I’ve noticed that occasionally it makes a strange loud buzz – the kind of noise that can really disrupt the moment. When that happens, I need to shake it a bit or adjust the angle which causes that irritating noise to go away. My favorite feature is the power cap: a simple twist increases or decreases vibration intensity. With the Gaia Eco, simplicity is key. I have other toys now, most of which are more advanced, more expensive, and have more options. Yet my Gaia Eco has not been retired. It’s nice to have something simple that’s always ready to go. And while I do not like having to use batteries, I think it’s a good option for this one vibrator. At least I know I don’t need to charge it before or after use, so I keep spare batteries nearby. I’m really happy with my Gaia Eco. If it dies, I will definitely buy a replacement.

A good price, but not for everyone.

After seeing the reviews saying that this was a good product for its price, I decided to check it out. Unfortunately for me, it did not live up to my expectations. I really, really wanted to like the Gaia, but it just wasn't enough for me. For me, the vibrations just weren't strong enough. They were rumbly and definitely better than most cheap vibrators out there, but even on the highest setting it just wasn't able to get me off at all. The other big issue was that it was only quiet when you held it correctly. If you held it in the wrong spot it would make a loud buzzing noise. As much as I wanted to like this product, I haven't been able to get much use out of it, sadly.

    An amazingly good buy!

I'm not sure what it is. Maybe a girl never forgets her first vibrator, and 20 years ago a simple battery vibe like this was my introduction to the wonderful world of sex toys. But even though I now have a big collection of luxury, high-end toys, every now and then I still crave the stimulation only a classic "smoothie" can give me. I love the firm, smooth feel of the hard plastic--especially the way it lets me press down with all the pressure I want--and I love the way the shape glides effortlessly between clit stim and penetration. Now that I'm getting older and have a bit of tummy to negotiate, I also love that a toy like this extends my reach! I would be very happy if someone, someday made this classic style in a luxury version, with a good rumble-y motor and a rechargeable battery. Until that day, I'll keep collecting battery-operated ones. This is one of the best I've found. It's very beautiful. The recycled plastic has lots of flecks and depth to its color and--yay!--is neither pink nor black. The plastic has a nice smooth feel without a coating. Since I recently discovered that I have an allergy to the mystery chemicals used in a lot of "velvet coats", for me this is a blessing. I also very much appreciate that the toy is pretty quiet...no "chainsaw" noises here! But what really makes it special is the vibrations, which are lovely and deep and thrummy, not buzzy at all. They are surprisingly powerful for 2 AA batteries, too. I do have a few quibbles. Instead of more typical flat dial for a control, the base of the vibe is dome-shaped. This makes it easier to get a grip on it to turn. Unfortunately, it also makes it easy to nudge it by accident, especially if you're using it under a blanket...I tend to bump the base of the vibe into my quilt and turn it off by accident! This could just be my particular model, though--they might not all be so sensitive. The tip is quite rounded--I would have preferred something a little more pointy for pin-point stimulation. And finally, at just an inch in diameter, the Gaia Eco is quite a slender beauty. If you are used to the girth of models powered by C batteries, you might find her a bit too small. Still. Those quibbles are VERY tiny, and really do seem unimportant next to this toy's wonderful vibrations. Not only would this make a great first toy for a vibrator newbie, it really does have a place in any seasoned collector's stash--as a warm-up toy, a travel toy, or a just-because-it-feels-really-really-good toy. I'm glad I found it!
