Great when it works but breaks fast
So I have owned 4 Eclipse vibrators. this model and 3 other similar prostate stimulators and all of them broke very shortly after use. 1st thing you should know is that these are the furthest thing from waterproof. All of them stopped working properly or stopped working entirely after 1 or 2 exposures to water (5-15 minutes of pool play). I tried salvaging with rice but the vibrator would work only intermitently. The other 3 versions had a moving "come hither" motion and the gear or whatever that created that motion broke (but still was able to vibrate for a while until finally stopped working completely). The same story went for this product. Used it once in the pool and it stopped working properly. Sometimes it wouldn't turn on. Other times it would turn on randomly while in storage and couldn't be turned off. sometimes it would turn on but you couldn't switch modes. All after one encounter with water. But New out of the box while it still works these things are great. powerful vibrations. lots of great modes and excellent stimulation.... they just break easy. This particular product stopped working properly after the 1st use (this instance was in the pool) and stopped working entirely after about 6-7 uses.

Works well when it works, but keep it away from water
When it works, it's very nice! But be cautious when washing it or hanging around water. I used mine a total of 6 times before it ceased to charge. The specs/marketing say that it can be used while "taking a dip", and washed with soap/water. I never fully submerged mine, but it stopped charging consistently after the second use. It would charge sometimes but not others, until after the 6th time it refused to charge at all. I avoided getting water in the charging port, but it looked like the gap between the power button and silicone case may have allowed water in.

Very nice little plug
The material is a velvety kind of silicone, not the glossy kind, feels very luxurious. The T-bar base helps it be very comfortable as well. It's rather small, but I wouldn't call it a "beginner's" toy. It's perfectly suitable for beginners, but the quality is just better than most "beginner" butt plugs. On to the vibrations. They get surprisingly powerful, and in my opinion, not very loud. It has a few patterns available (cycles through speeds and patterns with one button). Usually the patterns don't do much for me, but they're varied enough that I actually really enjoyed some of them. Just remember the travel lock function, where you have to hold the button for three seconds to turn it on. It says it's waterproof, but I'm not sure I'd risk submerging it, especially for any duration, but it's nice to not tiptoe around the base and buttons when cleaning it. It might be totally fine to use in the bath, but I just got it, so I'm not willing to put that to the test just yet!
