Kelvin Sparks Reviews The Satisfyer Power Flower Vibrator

I honestly didn’t have the highest expectations for the Satisfyer Power Flower. The fact that the last toy I reviewed from Satisfyer was honestly the worst sex toy I’ve tested during my sex blogging career, and that the offerings from Satisfyer’s new vibrator line bear a very strong resemblance to those from Fun Factory didn’t fill me with a huge amount of confidence. But I was intrigued by the Satisfyer Power Flower’s shape, and I’d heard that the Fun Factory Volta– which the Power Flower looks very much like- worked really well for trans men who’d been on T that I wanted to at least give the Power Flower a chance.

And I’m really glad I did, because holy shit the Power Flower is really good.

The Power Flower is a vibrator with a three pronged split tip (the prongs resemble petals, hence the name) that flutters and vibrates when the Power Flower is in use. It has six solid speeds and six patterns, is waterproof, and is available for $49.95 from SheVibe. While you could use the Power Flower internally, I’ve used it mostly externally.

It works SO well externally. I have growth from testosterone, and using the Power Flower on it almost feels like a vibrating sleeve rather than a vibrator. While I’m generally a more pinpoint kind of guy, feeling vibration all around my dick is great. The vibrations here are good and rumbly on all settings, although I tend towards the higher settings (normally 4-5-6 of the 6 solid speed settings). If you’re not into pinpoint clitoral/dick stimulation, the Power Flower will work better for you, but on the occasions I was in the mood for more pinpoint stimulation, I was able to make the Power Flower work still. Turning the speed up to 6 and putting the very edge of one of the petals against my dick delivered fantastic pinpoint stimulation. While I wouldn’t suggest getting the Power Flower if you’re specifically looking for pinpoint stimulation (get the We-Vibe Tango or Zumio if you are), if you’re looking for a vibrator with some flexibility, the Power Flower definitely has that in its favour.

This is possibly the most boring and mundane thing I’ve ever got excited about on a vibrator, but I love the Power Flower’s buttons. There’s three buttons, and they’re super easy to figure out. I was sent a review sample Power Flower, that didn’t come with a box or a manual, and it still took me only a couple of minutes to figure out. The middle button turns the vibrator on, the button towards the handle changes to the next vibrator setting, and the button towards the tip turns back to the previous setting. I love having a button to turn the setting back! It is the most boring thing on a sex toy I have got excited about, but I’m so happy I don’t have to cycle through all the settings if I accidentally go onto a pattern 1.

As an aside, I’ve heard that the Power Flower is usable on people with standard issue size penises. While I can’t really comment on this, as both my partner and I are pre-bottom surgery, it’s an option to bear in mind. I did try out the Power Flower on a dildo to see how the two could fit together, and found that the petals are flexible enough to fit around the entire head. I’ve also tried the Power Flower against my packer to get some idea of how it could be used against flaccid genitals, and it works just as well.
